Good study prospects even without a high school diploma
For more than 25 years, qualified professionals in Rhineland-Palatinate have been able to study without an Abitur or Fachhochschulreife - provided they meet certain requirements. In 2020, the access options were once again significantly simplified and expanded when the new Higher Education Act came into force. More on the topic at

Consulting for professionally qualified persons
Counseling at the Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society for professionally qualified students has two main focuses: on the one hand, it aims to provide a general discussion of the topic of studying, career prospects and the impact of studying on the applicant's life. This advice is provided by the HWG LU contact person for professionally qualified people, Jessica Heuser beruflichqualifizierte@hwg-lu.de; +49(0) 621/5203-384).
The second focus of advice is more technical. Here, all questions regarding the desired course of study are clarified. This part of the consultation is carried out by a contact person from the Department of the chosen degree programs.
Tip: Use a test to find the right place to study based on your interests
Anyone who is professionally qualified to study, but has not yet found the right degree program, is well served by the interest test of the Virtual Campus Rhineland-Palatinate (VCRP): The interest test is intended as an aid to finding the right degree program. Based on the information provided, a comprehensive, individual profile is created. In addition, degree programs at universities in Rhineland-Palatinate that match this interest profile are presented. The processing time is approximately 20 minutes.
